Purchase two new gaskets to fix the issues.
Note that I choose not to use a blow dryer or heat gun. Set out in the full sun for 5 hours. This worked the best. It did seem like the magnet did not work but the petroleum jelly seal the deal.
Also, note that the salespeople were quick to help with ordering the correct part.
