Wached a video to learn how to replace the switch. Ordered the part and upon receipt I cut power to the unit and popped out the switch from the inside panel. I released the two small retaining clips on each side of the old switch and disconnected the electrical plug. Connected the new switch to the electrical plug and inserted it in the side panel. Connected power and light now works properly.
