Replaced cold control. Suspect it wasn't sensing the temp. If you shut temp all the way off, the damper door would close. Three things made the replacement a little harder than it probably is. First, my vision isn't the best as I'm 61 and even with glasses my field of clarity makes it where I had to stick my head in the frig to see what I was doing. Two-the screws are in recessed holes and my standard socket head bits are too big in diameter and wouldn't go all the way down to reach the screw. What did work was one of the screw driver bit holders. It was the right diameter to go in even though it was just a bit of a loose fit. Another holder was too big to fit. Lastly-getting the foam damper assembly took some careful prying to break loose. It is glued in.
