Rebecca C Burien , WA April 14, 2017 Replace the trim piece for the handle I pulled up a YouTube video of the Maytag repair for the part. After I had a visual of what to do, I took the door off the stove, removed the trim pieces in order to get the front cover off, then removed the broken trim piece the door handle attaches to, put the new part on (and it looks amazing!). Put the door back together and placed the door back into place. It was a very easy fix, but took a little bit longer since I have not done this repair before. But I feel that even a beginner would be successful at replacing these parts. 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
