Water dispenser quit working. I assumed it was the solenoid valve. Watched video of repair of a different model, which showed how to release tubing from valves.
I pulled out the old water valve assembly and left it connected to tubing and wiring while taking clear digital photos from every angle. I verified that the replacement part matched the old one. Part received within a few days. Actual repair was rather simple and didn't take long. I only took off one wire or tube at a time while connecting it to the new valve, but I had comfort in knowing that I had photographed everything for reference.
This repair is easily within the capability of a typical do-it-yourself person.
