Documents W College Park , MD July 09, 2017 It was the rotor position sensor I can't thank you guys enough. I am a 62 year old female veteran, full time caregiver, and this is one of many of my appliances I have had to repair. After viewing your video a couple of times, I dug right in. Tilted the washer, got out the adjustable wrench, and my socket set, screwdriver, and the whatchmacallit:) to unscrew the cover over the rotor. It took me only about a half hour to complete the task, breaking it down and then putting it back together. You have got to make sure that the wires going to the white bracket are out of the way of the rotor case. The first time I did it, I didn't quite have it in line, so it worked fine up to the last 7 minutes then I got an F54 code, which meant there was some burst of energy. So I took it apart again, and found that the insulator on the three wires was bare where the cover came in contact with them. My recommendation would be to add a bit of shrink tube with the rotor sensory kit, so that those wires can be better protected. I used electrical tape to cover the bare sections, then put everything back together again. She is purring like a kitten now. Have done several loads. Can't even hear her running. Thanks for the great support. Will definitely recommend you and will continue using you!!!! 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
