The screw holes on the lid switch on our washer had rotted and broken, leaving the washer unable to spin/drain. I am a layman at best, so I was ready to call a repairman. Instead, I went online and looked for a tutorial. I found an instructional video on YouTube and followed along on my phone. The part was inexpensive, the repair was fairly simple, and I'm sure I saved a buttload of money doing it myself.
