After door removal, cut and removed old failing seal. New seal, while of excellent quality, was rather badly deformed, probably due to the folds in it from shipping in a smaller box. These proved difficult to remedy, even using a combination of hot water, and a warm hair dryer to try to remove them. I also found it crucial to use a putty knife to push in the foam insulation, as shown in the video. It was challenging to get the new seal into certain areas, even after using the putty knife! Door would not close correctly after reinstall due to the deformations in the seal. After using the putty knife to guide the seal into place as the door closed, I had to keep something heavy against the door to keep it closed and "sealed" (was still leaking a bit). After a few days, however, the seal acquiesced to its new home and is working well.
