James B Phoenix , AZ June 01, 2015 The stove would not stop heating and would get way hotter than the set temperature I first tested my thermostat element to make sure it was within specs. It was, so there really wasn't anything else I figured it could be other than the control unit. So I ordered the new unit, which came fast in the mail and installed the new control unit. Really easy, remove 8 screws on the back of the stove. unplug the 3 connectors on the back of the existing unit and then the 2 screws holding the control unit in place, and then reversed the procedures with the new control unit. Put everything back in its place and tested the oven. This time the oven stopped heating when it reached the set temperature and has been working fine ever since. As usual AppliancePartsPro.com was awesome. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
