Helynn S Humbird , WI December 23, 2018 Switch had no indents to stop dial Fix was super simple! Watched the video online but didn't have to remove the entire door front like they showed. Just unplugged the dishwasher and then undid the 4 screws for the top section that contains the switch dial (after removing the knob). First I undid the plug for the control module and then I removed the 2 screws holding the actual switch module in place. I pried up on the old module and it popped right out. I put the new module in place, installed the 2 screws to secure it, and reconnected the plug. (It only goes one way, so there is no chance of not connecting it properly.) Reinstalled the top part of the front of the door and aligned the knob and pushed it into place. Plugged the unit back in and tested it. Saved myself about a $150 service and parts call. SUPER HAPPY! P.S. I'm a woman....ANYONE CAN DO THIS REPAIR!! 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
