After checking the wires for any disconnections or breaks I ordered the thermistor from appliance parts pros. If you have the space to tip the washer on its side and reach the thermistor from the bottom opening you'll save yourself a ton of time and effort. I did, and was able to replace the thermistor in about 10 minutes. Good as new.
