I replaced the old unit with the new unit. Very easy!
However, after a few hours, the new unit did not appear to be making ice. I uninstalled the new unit, and compared it's innards to the old unit = identical; power cable = same, including the clip for the Black wire that connects it to the icemaker chassis.
Did more research, and discovered that it may take 12-24 hours for the new icemaker to cool enough for the new unit to start making ice!
Just be certain that the Black-wire block-rectangular fuse is SECURELY attached to the chassis - just like the old connection cable...
