Jeffrey R Chicago , IL February 23, 2016 Timer countdown working but not heating or plate revolving Replaced lower door switch. there are several videos on youtube about doing this. Some were for models more complex than mine, so I didn't have to remove as much. I'll add that the wires connecting to control panel are short, so be careful not to pull too hard. I used numbered masking tape, on wire and circuit board, to label connections when removing, to make replacement go easier. the trickiest part was removing and reinstalling the switch. there is a lock tab that gets moved, then switch is rotated on a pin before pulling out. that pin goes through a hole in switch. put pin through hole in new switch before rotating back into position and make sure tab is locked in place. Also, a stubby phillips screwdriver would have been helpful for 2 of the screws. 35 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
