I ordered the knob, but unfortunately the problem was actually the timer. After reading reviews of the replacement timer having wires that don’t match the original (which is no longer produced) I decided to call a professional. Had my problem only been the knob it would have been an easy fix! I could checked the timer by trying to turn it with pliers before I ordered the new knob, then I would have known it would not turn with or without a knob.
