Jeffery B Donalsonville , GA September 04, 2015 The timer switch came detached from the bracket and the dial slot slipped out of the shaft until i saw the repair video i did not know about the clip that locks the dial to the shaft I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. I found the plastic molded bracket that the timer rests on to be broken and the tab on the timer where it is attached by a screw to be broken. I ordered a replacement switch, dial and knob. When it arrived I replaced the parts as instructed, but I had to use super glue to hold the new switch in place due to the support tab on the washer panel being broken off. After letting the glue cure I reattached the panel and everything worked great. 25 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours
