After searching the web and conducting research, I was able to figure out how to perform auto diagnostics on my sister's Amana washing machine. The diagnostics let me determine the issue was her lid switch. The lid switch was not locking properly which would not allow the machine to finish the cycle (rinse and spin), leaving her clothes completely submerged. I found appliance parts pros by searching how to fix the issue on YouTube. Ordering the part was a breeze. When the part arrived I was able to perform the repair in about 10 minutes by watching their detailed instructional video. My experience with was amazing.
