There are two youtube videos (search GE front load washer gasket replacement) that I used to guide me. The videos do not depict the same model or part number but they were very helpful. It is not the easiest home project I've done but not the most difficult either. Essentially you take the top off the washer, next the control panel, then the door spring, then the front panel, then the gasket spring. The hardest part is lining the gasket back on. A little detergent helps it slide on better. Then put everything back on in reverse order.
