It was very simple to remove control panel. 2 screws to remove the top vent and 1 screw to remove control panel itself. It took less than 2 to 3 minutes to remove the control panel. The hardest thing to do was to remove was the ground wire due to the fact it was a little short to get the panel out to remove the rest of the wiring harness. Once the panel is out and you remove the old touch pad, you will need a good adhesive remover to get the old adhesive off the control panel face before you apply the new touch pad. I would say it took longer to remove the adhesive, than it took to change out the touch pad. The best part of the whole experience was that from the time that I ordered the part on line and the part was at my door was less than 20 hours. Unbelievable!!
