Replaced the switch membrane. This is the second repair for the same issue on this microwave since new in 2008. The first time I purchased the complete panel unit, for around $100. This time I decided to try just changing the membrane. Took a little bit longer, but came out just fine, and saved about $75. Only need a #2 Phillips screwdriver, and something to help you lift off the old membrane. There is a video on YouTube that shows how to disassemble your oven to get the control panel off so that you don't break anything (I broke one plastic tab the first time). Be sure to clean off the old adhesive from the membrane, I used Goo Gone. The job is pretty straight forward. Had it done, including cleaning out the dust, in under an hour.
