Lanny H Sacramento , CA May 20, 2016 After being turned off for 5 months my icemaker failed to make ice I used Appliance Pro for trouble shooting and couldn't be positive whether it was the ice maker or the water valve unit. I ordered both parts. Significant in the process "Samantha" on live chat couldn't find the model number and had me send a photo of the information plate. That saved the day! The icemaker replacement was the easiest access so I replaced it first after viewing the tutorial video. That solved the problem. At the same time a friend had a similar type problem and using a local repairman solved it for $280 while my repair cost $102 . Thank you Appliance Pro. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
