I ordered the kit that not only replaced the agitator dogs but the rest of the assembly as well. It was incredibly easy! I don't normally try to fix anything other than changing the batteries or bulb but after watching the handy video, this was so simple that I had to try it! AND it worked! I literally saved myself over a $1,000 by purchasing a $17 part! My washer works just like new and I couldn't be happier! I ordered part #5452690 and it fit like a charm! It arrived in 2 days! I had a terrible time finding the model number for my Whirlpool Stylemaster No. 4217141 Rev A model and now I feel so silly. The model number is under the lid, like literally open the lid and look UNDER it at the tub. The model info was right there all along! I had argued and seen many other reviews where people couldn't find it so I felt justified with my frustration until I bent down a bit and saw the label. That was the hardest part of my repair, lol.
