I made the repair by pulling the dish rack out and taking it to my backyard. I didn't want fumes from the paint indoors, especially around my children. The paint went on easily and it dried in less time than I expected. I placed some old rags under the spot that I was going to work on, it worked because some drops fell and I would have made a mess. The repair was fast, just have patience for dry time.
This was my second repair... I'm very happy that I made the repair myself and saved money.
