An online search of the problem (would not agitate or spin) indicated a bad lid switch. Then with model number was able to find an online video on how to change it. Next I opened the washer, like in the video (very easy) and made sure that the lid switch looked like the one I ordered from AppliancePartsPros.com. Of course with the model number it was easy to find the right part.
The part arrived in 2 days with no special shipping. What great service! Since, the washer was already open, it took about 10 minutes to put in the new lid switch and put the washer back together. A small load of clothes went through the cycle just fine. The washer has been working flawlessly ever since.
