After watching the repair video, I was able to ascertain the issue. It was the interior door panel that was broken inside and not holding the latch securely. I ordered the interior door panel. Once I received it I watched the repair video again and was able to remove and replace the door panel. All went smooth. My washer is now working properly. It took about 30 minutes total and saved me at least $100 service charge from the local appliance repair shop, not including their upcharge on the part.
