My washer would not drain, so I watched the YouTube video from the Appliance Parts Pros website to help diagnose the problem. From this, I determined that the drain pump had failed. I ordered the part and in 3 days it arrived and I installed the part. Unfortunately, that was not the only thing wrong with the washer. Since the drain pump had not been working properly for some time, the loads were getting heavier and heavier, and the Rotor Position Sensor Switch had also failed, which I was able to diagnose through the great resources on Appliance Parts Pros. Again, I ordered the part from them and it would have arrived in 3 days, but my wife happened to be going through a metropolitan area for work and stopped at an appliance store on a whim and asked if they had the part, which they did. She brought it home that evening and the washer now works like a champ. (Appliance Parts Pros graciously accepted my order cancellation with no hassle or haggle.) Appliance Parts Pros had provided me the only avenue that I have for repairing my expensive appliance. We live in a rural area and there are not appliance repair services within 75 miles. There are some available, but they charge travel time and are scheduled out weeks in advance. Having the knowledge and resource base on their website, prompt attention to deliveries and inquiries and 2-3 day shipping guarantees helps folks like me with limited knowledge of mechanics avoid having to spend huge amounts on repair bills or appliance replacements. Thank you, Appliance Parts Pros. That is why I felt it was important to respond to this survey.
