After watching a U-tube demonstration, the door's rubber seal was partially removed exposing the locking assembly. 3 screws were removed loosening the assembly after which the 3 wire harnesses were removed. Once determined that the old assembly had to be removed from the holding bracket, the new assembly was snapped into place after which the unit was fastened by replacing the 3 screws. Once attached, the door seal was secured in place and tested for proper operation.
