Diagnosed the problem by opening the control panel, disconnecting the lid switch assembly, and jumping the leads on the plug. Once the problem was isolated, I ordered the Lid Switch Assembly from AppliancePartsPros.com and followed the step by step video on their website to replace it. It took less than 15 minutes to install the switch, but I found that the plug on my new Lid Switch Assembly didn't match the washer's plug. I then cut the plug off the new Lid Switch Assembly and spliced on the plug from the old one. Washer works great now!
