Called repair service. Technician said shock absorber was not working, and he couldn't find a replacement part. He recommended I come to his store to look at new washing machines. I checked Appliance Parts Pros and found the part (2). They came quickly and were easy to install. I have a working washer at 1/10th the cost of the service company's recommendation.
