Replaced the water inlet valve. Because my fridge (KitchenAid) is a commercial style with the compressor on top, the inlet valve was underneath the fridge so most work done laying on my side.
I raised the feet as high as they would go, released to two screw for the metal housing that the inlet valve was attached to then swung it toward the front. From here, I was able to remove the two screws holding the inlet valve to the metal housing freeing it.
Then I removed the hoses and the electrical connection. Before removing the hoses, I used a permanent marker to mark the hoses where it met the valve and a half inch beyond that also. This way on installation of the new part, I had a sense on whether I had the right depth.
