The simplicity of this repair surprised me. Finding the correct part on this site using the washer modle number was easy and quick. From start to finish the whole process took less than half an hour.
I unplugged the washer, shut off the water supply valves and removed the hoses from the washer inlet valve. Using a 1/4" nut driver I removed the three screws from the instrument panel ( rear top), sliding the panel slightly to the right to disengage the mounting tabs I placed the panel face down on the washer exposing the inlet valve. I unplugged the electrical connectors, removed the 2 mounting screws and with pliers removed the clamp and water line from the valve freeing it from the unit. Installing the new valve was just reversing the process. Simple and quick and saved a lot of money!
