Removed the back panel, unplugged a small wire from the sensor, pulled the sensor straight out, pushed the new sensor in, plugged small wire back in, replace the back panel. The sensor is in an open and very easily accessible spot. It took longer to remove and replace the screws holding the panel on than it did to replace the actual part (and I used a cordless drill). Easy peasy.
