The repair was an adventure - Realized that the video made things appear easier than it was. Unlike the video lab, cramp space created a challenge. Accessing and removing the springs was the most difficult. Used quarters to stretch springs and remove them. Eventually disconnected the unit to get it outside on the patio. Dissemble unit to remove the panel and have better access to install new springs. Being a 69yo whose strength is not what it use to be. I had to devise a tool (nail extractor and Allen wrench) to create leverage to attach new springs. Belt didn't attach as easily as the video showed. The snubber ring didn't seem too worn, but there seems to be some white shredding, so replace it. The only issue now is hinge pin hole has rust. So the lid slides some. Four hours to install turned to three days with pondering. Will take that compared to a $315 service call. Thanks
