I first repaired the control panel by replacing caps. The display came back but still displayed erroneous information. I then replace the control panel with a re-manufactured one. Still had display problems. I then ordered a new touch screen. This took care of the problem. My original control panel may still work however I'm in the mode to not mess with it any more. It's working, leave it alone. Save part for possible future problems.
