There were no videos on AppliancePartsPros.com showing how to fix this, only a video of an IN-FREEZER icemaker, which did not apply to my model at all. Whirlpool company was virtually worthless with no assistance, no videos or even useful schematics. I basically used common sense, and some trial and error in deciding which screws to remove and which to leave alone. I used a 1/4 inch nut driver to remove the two back screws holding the icemaker in place. The electrical connections were simple one way only, press/release. This is something the average homeowner can do himself and avoid a large repair bill.
