Tested Thermal Cutoff 325F with my multimeter. It was bad. Ordered part from a different website than here. While installing part I noticed the bottom red wire going to the heating element was melted. My plan was to snip off the burnt connector, cut the wire back a few inches and install a new connector out of my kit at home. No such luck! This connector is larger than any you will find in kits they sell or even in hardware stores. You have to order it from this website or several others online. After receiving the part I spliced it in with the existing wire I had snipped off and capped it with the supplied wire nut. I did notice that the part you receive is stranded aluminum wire, not stranded copper like the existing wires. Not sure if that makes any difference or not, I know aluminum wire is cheaper. Overall I am satisfied. The dryer works fine now and Appliance Parts Pros' price was on par with the other sellers. I chose A.P.P because they have really fast shipping which is important to me.
