Dann P Battle Ground , WA January 06, 2016 Appliance: Model KENMORE 417.69042991 Worn teflon glides Demonstration video showed how - although the model is not exactly the same. Removed front of dryer. Glides and felt seal are connected to front. No need to remove drive belt. Pealed off old glides/felt. Glued new glides/felt in place with included cement. Didn't really need to clean the surface as pristine as in the video. A few small clamps and clothespins were helpful. Also replaced lower felt seal. The metal part of the drum that rides on the glides was rough in spots and sounded like it would wear out the new glides quickly. I sanded the metal smooth with #600 sandpaper and it turns smoothly on the glides. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
