Joe K Walls , MS April 30, 2018 Bake element in oven was burned out Ordered a replacement element. I have an older Tappan oven and Applianceparts had what I needed. It was not an exact replacement. The size dimensions were perfect but my old element required space terminals and the new one required ring terminals. No problem, I just cut off the female space terminals from the oven wiring and replaced them with ring terminals. Good as new now! Dustin H Lake Charles , LA July 16, 2022 Appliance: Model 11-1568-30 Broiler element has been out for years and then the baking element went out. This is an extremely old Tappan wall oven but it still works and its cheaper than a new one! Bought the elements from you guys and it was very easy. It was automatically cross referenced through your system and found all the parts I needed. The top broiler element was an easy install. Pop the old one out and the new one in. The bottom was a different story. The old element had slide style spade connector, whereas the new element had a square type with a screw secure attachment. After thought, I had to cut off the OE wire connector spade type and rewire it with a round wire connector to fit the screw to attach the new element. Was a little work, but anyone with basic electrical experience can do this. Just had to change the connection ends to match the new ones. Wrapped them in electrical type and it works fine. Thanks for making the process easy in finding parts. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
