Steve M Merritt Island , FL July 04, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Frg(V0) / Electric Range FEF388WCCF Bake element caught on fire and burned until it broke apart at one spot It took no time to find where the problem was! I got my Frigidaire model number and got on-line with AppliancePartsPros.com where I have gone for over a decade for all my household repairs. Why? because they are honest, helpful, considerate, fast, and its easy to locate and SEE the exact part I need. 10 minutes after the burning of my element, one was in my cart and ordered! Done. TWO days later, the part arrived. I turned off the circuit breaker, unscrewed the two 1/4" screws and pulled off the wire plugs, attached the plugs to the new bake element, and re-installed the 2 screws. 10 minutes TOPS. DONE! Turn on the circuit breaker, reset the clock on the range, and this failure was history. Easy for ANYONE to do this job! AppliancePartsPros is the ONLY place I will go since I had an ice maker that they happily took back as a return for me when they didn't need to. THAT made me a DEDICATED customer for life!!! Don't choose anyone else. They are my GO-TO place for any DIY appliance repairs!
