Mark K Martinez , CA March 08, 2017 The lower element had shorted out and arced across to the bottom of the oven it was done It's was easy to replace. Unplugged the oven from the wall, unscrew the two screws that hold the element to the back of the oven and pulled it away from the oven. Then just pull off the two wires at the end of the bake element. Install the new one in the revers order, easy. Craig C Seattle , WA December 02, 2023 The bake element had failed no longer heated. Turned off power at the circuit breaker. Confirmed there was no power at the stove. A couple of screws in the back of oven held the element in place. Removed them, then pulled the element toward the front. Disconnected the two blade/slot wires. Took out the element.
