Description

This oven bake element supplies the lower-oven heat for Bake cycles. Replacing a failed element restores proper preheating and consistent temperatures so your electric range or wall oven bakes reliably again. What it does:

• Provides radiant heat from the bottom of the oven during Bake
• Helps the oven reach and maintain the set temperature
• Failure symptoms can include: no heat in Bake, very slow preheating, uneven baking, or the element not glowing
• Visible damage such as breaks, blisters, or burned spots indicates replacement is needed

Install notes:

• Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing
• Remove oven racks; unfasten the element's mounting screws, then gently pull the element forward and transfer the wires one at a time
• Reuse existing mounting hardware; ensure terminals are fully seated and not contacting the oven cavity
• Restore power and test Bake; the element should heat evenly
