Description

This dryer blower moves air through the drum, lint filter, and exhaust so laundry dries efficiently. Replacing a damaged blower restores proper airflow and helps prevent long dry times and overheating issues.

• Draws and circulates air across the heater, through the drum and lint filter, and out the vent
• Maintains correct airflow and temperature control for consistent drying performance
• Worn, cracked, or clogged blowers may cause weak exhaust airflow and extended dry cycles
• May also present as rattling/grinding noises from the blower area or high-heat shutoffs

• Disconnect power; if gas, turn off gas supply before servicing
• Access the blower by removing the front/lower panel and blower cover
• Clean lint/debris from the housing and duct; transfer any seals or hardware from the original as needed
• After installation, spin the blower by hand to verify free movement; reassemble and test airflow
