Description

The  Bracket assembly is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire washing machines. This bracket assembly contains an arm that detects any out of balance vibrations in the washing tub during the spin cycle. If excess vibrations are sensed, the arm will trip an internal switch to stop the cycle and prevent potential damage.

Symptoms of a bad bracket include: 

• Inability to complete high-speed spin cycles
• Premature ending of the spin portion of cycles  
• Error codes related to tub imbalance
• Excessive shaking felt in the washer cabinet or surrounding floor area

Causes of failure can be worn or loose mounting points that reduce the arm's sensitivity over time. Constant back-and-forth movement also causes fatigue that impairs the bracket's balance detection capabilities.
