Jacquelyn M Los Angeles , CA December 03, 2016 The control board appeared to have fallen inside the range top I took off the back cover of the range. I then took out the bolts which had held the control board in. I placed the control overlay on the new control board, and then plugged it in. I bolted the control board in place and replaced the back cover. For $135 in parts and 15 minutes of labor, I did what the appliance repair company wanted to charge me $500 for.
