Barry M Leesville , SC July 10, 2017 Appliance: Model (WHITE-WESTINGHOUSE) KS220GDW0 Broiler element in my 33 year old white westinghouse oven burned out Turned off the oven power at the breaker box. Removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the front support bracket and removed the front support bracket. (This bracket is necessary as the broiler element is in the top of the oven) Then I removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the element against the back of the oven, gently pulled the element away from the back of the oven to expose and unplug the (slip on) electrical connections, and removed the burned out element. Contrary to some home projects I have tackled, installing the new element was the reverse of removing the old one.
