I tried replacing only the diode (rectifier) first with no luck. I hope this is helpful. Steven H Mountville , PA January 17, 2019 Appliance: Frigidaire Microwave Hood Combo FPBM189KFC Yes Frigidaire microwave was not consistently heating food After an appliance repair man failed to repair the microwave, I watched a YouTube video and consulted an electrical engineer to diagnose the problem. I decided to replace the HV capacitor, HV rectifier and the magnetron. I failed to take a picture of the wiring configuration prior to removing them, but obtaining an diagram from online I was ale to feel confident about reconnecting them properly. Thanks to APP having the correct parts in-stock and their rapid delivery, I was able to repair the microwave within a week. Read More...
