After replacing the burner twice and verifying the fuel holes and orifice was not blocked, we fixed the problem by replacing the wiring harness P/N: AP3965774. That and making sure the burner was tightly screwed into the range base to ensure the correct spark gap.

Ordered replacement control/clock panel. Very easy replacement. Unplug or turn off breaker and verify power is off. Remove burner knobs. Remove the plastic nuts that holds the panel down and carefully roll the panel over to prevent disconnecting any wires. It maybe a good idea to take a picture of the wiring before proceeding. Remove the four holddown screws. Place new control panel on the face plate using the four screws. Do not over tighten the screws. Firm pressure is enough. Move the wiring from the old to the new control panel one connector at a time. When all wires have been transferred you are ready to reinstall the face panel. Check to insure the rubber gasket that seals the top edge of the face panel to the range is clean and in place. Install the face panel using the four plastic nuts. These nuts would be easy to strip if not aligned properly so apply patience not force. Install burner knobs. Power back up with breaker or plug. Repair is complete. I have used AppliancePartsPro several times to save my appliances. I always find them very helpful and I have never found better pricing. Fast delivery using normal ground service. Can't be beat. A part costing $232 saved a range that would cost $2200+ to replace. Not a bad deal.

I removed the front panel, un-screwed the board and replaced it.
