Elvin R El Dorado Springs , MO March 24, 2014 Appliance: Model 790-94112401 The error code did not show up the problem. I traced the problem with a meter. The oven or the broil elements would not heat. By using ohms and volts on my meter to the elements. OK. First I check the voltage at plug,244 volts, OK, Then I went to the control board to check for voltage going to the power terminals, OK. Set the control to bake or broil. No power voltage coming through the controls. You have to pull off the bake and broil wires off before making the last test. That told the story of what the problem was. One side of the line is broken or internal circuit burned into or bad points in relay. The clock time works fine, but for some reason it fails to give the error codes. After, replacing the clock/timer, I checked the amps draw to each elements, OK. The checking time took quite a lot of time because I wanted to be sure it correct instead of assuming the job by guesting at it.. My practice is to be sure that is correct.
