Kerry L Columbus , MS May 05, 2014 There was power available to the stove but it was inoperative I verified that wiring and elements were in good condition. The clock-control board was ordered from appliance-parts-pros. When the part arrived it was installed and the stove is back in business. I have one happy rental customer that was ready to do some cooking! I would recommend using appliance pros again due to the parts search section and exact product pictures given on their website. Thanks, again. Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
Robert S Memphis , TN May 03, 2014 Appliance: Model CP9580A Error code f1 broiler came on during bake cycle causing an over heating condition Unplugged the stove. Removed the upper back panel. Removed the 4 screws holding the board. Gently removed the plug and transferred it and the 5 wires to the new board one at a time to ensure proper placement. You will have to carefully remove the plastic cover/face from the old board and transfer it to the new one prior to installing it. It is just attached with some tacky glue. No tools needed to do this, just your hands. Then mount the new board, back panel, plug in and fix dinner. I had to pry off the new housing very carefully without damaging the circuit board and install the original housing over the new circuit board. That added 25 min to the project.
