Lisa Marie E Denver , CO May 16, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Range PLEF398DCH Bake and broil elements failed to heat properly We tested the continuity of the heating element with an ohm meter and it appeared to be working; however, since it was the least expensive "fix" we replaced the temperature sensor from a local store but it did not do the trick. I chatted with an AppliancePartsPro representative and he recommended the clock/timer—which at the time didn't seem to make a lot of sense since the clock/timer and all of the displays worked. Purchased the part because I had nothing to lose with their guarantee that I could return the part and get my money back if it didn't work (unlike local stores where I'd be out of luck and my $). Watched a youtube video on removing the back of the oven and replacing the part. Removed the many connectors one at a time to ensure I did it properly. I did. Problem solved.
