Description
This compressor kit is made to be used with freezers and refrigerators by several manufacturers. It includes the compressor as well as all small parts associated with it. The compressor is a component that helps move the refrigerant throughout the appliance's system. Temperature sensors indicate when the compressor should run. If the compressor is damaged, it may make strange noises, no longer cool properly, or could begin to overheat.If any of these issues are present, the compressor should be replaced. First, make sure the refrigerator is not connected to a power source. Remove perishable items from the appliance and place them in an icebox, cooler with ice, or another refrigerator. Locate the compressor on the back of the appliance by removing the metal guard. Remove the wire between the compressor and the capacitor before taking off the compressor.
