Description
Made for use with refrigerators by several major manufacturers, this is a full compressor kit. It is an internal part that is tasked with moving refrigerant throughout the appliance. It also works by adding pressure to part of the circuit to heat up the refrigerant. This creates a high pressure, hot gas that is moved to the compressor to be cooled and used to keep the appliance at the appropriate temperature. If the compressor is damaged or broken, it can cause the refrigerator to start making loud noises. The compressor may turn on and off more frequently than expected, created overheating and improper cooling, and create clicking noises. If the compressor kit is damaged, it should be replaced. Turn off the circuit breaker or unplug the refrigerator. Pull out the refrigerator and take off the access plate. Let it cool down before the compressor is removed.
